Practice Info

Consultation hours / appointments

You can now make a consultation appointment directly online via the new secure environment of "Uw Zorg On-Line". When making an appointment, you must clearly indicate why you want an appointment. An appointment during the consultation hour (or via the eConsult module) is expressly intended for one complaint. Do you expect that you need more time or do you want to be able to ask several questions? Then make an appointment via the assistant.

The (e)Consult

It is now possible to request an eConsult or ask a question through the new secure environment of "Uw Zorg On-Line". The duration of a normal consultation at the practice is 10 minutes. Think carefully in advance about what you want to discuss with your doctor. What are your complaints? What have you already done about it yourself? What are you worried about?

Video Calls (complaint will be assessed remotely)

Nowadays you can make video calls with the practice. This option has been created for patients who cannot come to the practice. This is instead of the regular consultation with the general practitioner as well as with POH somatics or POH GGZ. With a request for video calling, the doctor sends a link to your mobile phone so that you can make video calls with the doctor. This is done via an extra secure connection. The system with which this is done is called WeSeeDo. If you want to know more about this, go to for more information.

Repeat prescriptions

The new secure environment also offers the possibility to request prescriptions or repeat prescriptions online. These are picked up by the team and will be taken care of as soon as possible.

Evening consultation hours

There are no evening consultation hours.

Absence of the doctor

If your regular doctor is not present due to his/her vacation or day off, you can contact his/her colleague or the acting GP for urgent questions or a consultation that cannot wait.

You will find our assistants behind the counter and on the phone. In addition, you can also visit the assistants in the morning for small treatmants such as getting your ears cleaned, removing stitches, Hb/glucose testing, blood drawing or wound bandaging. We prefer it when this happens by appointment.

Responsibilities Assistant

When making the appointment by telephone, the assistant will ask you for the reason of the visit, which is at the request of your GP. She/he has been trained for this purpose and does so in order to make the best possible assessment of the nature and urgency of your complaints. If you have more questions, want a longer conversation or come for a minor surgical procedure, the assistant will reserve more time for you.

The assistant will treat your information confidentially, just like the general practitioner. You can always contact us immediately for first aid (injuries, burns, etc.). If you call in advance or let us call you, we will take your arrival moment into account. As soon as the assistant knows what is the best treatment for you, she will make you an appointment.

There are various possibilities:

    • You will be provided with advice, which will also be discussed with the General Practitioner (GP)
    • The doctor will call you back
    • An appointment will follow for a consultation with the GP
    • An appointment will follow for a consultation with the assistant
    • An appointment will follow for a visit

You can contact the assistant for :

    • results of urine or blood tests
    • measuring blood pressure
    • touching warts
    • dressing wounds
    • squirt ears
    • remove sutures
    • pregnancy test
    • urine analysis
    • sugar control
    • smears
    • vaccinations
    • bandaging and taping
    • information leaflets

Het Team

I enjoy working in our beautiful practice with great pleasure and dedication. The cooperation with our team is very nice and valuable. I enjoy this every day as well as the contact with the patients. Accessible and personal care is very important to me, I do my best every day.

I have been a General Practitioner (GP) since 2011 and have worked in various practices. The longest in Velserbroek, where I was also trained. I have always had the ambition to run a practice together with a colleague. I am also a GP trainer.

I was educated at the AMC myself and I have enjoyed living in different neighborhoods in Amsterdam for 16 years.

My style is open, with a touch of humor and I like to think along with you. I am naturally curious. I am interested and competent in all aspects of the general practitioner profession and specialized in surgical procedures, joint injections and travel advice.

My working days are Monday, Thursday and Friday.

I have enjoyed working in this practice since 2008. Initially with Douwe de Vries, whose practice I took over together with Jesse de Feyter after his retirement (2017).

I have both completed my medical studies and my 3-year postgraduate general practitioner training at the VU, Amsterdam. After this training, I observed for a short time in various general practices in North Holland, to start (again) in this practice as of 2008 for a permanent position. Some of you will already know me from 2007, when I was in my last year of GP training and was already working in the practice of Douwe de Vries.

I am now a GP trainer myself, affiliated with the VUmc since 2014. I find good personal and accessible contact with my patients important. I am curious about the person behind the patient and, in addition to providing good medical care, I try to listen to what the patient has to say. My style is open and friendly.

Like my colleague, I am interested and well versed in the full breadth of the general practitioner profession, specializing in the placement of spirals and joint injections.

My working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Working hours: Nicky works 1 day a week.

Working hours : 4 days all day. Petra started as an assistant and works now also a practice nurse.

She has consultation hours for diabetes care, asthma/copd and elderly care. As of September 1, Petra no longer works on Fridays.

Since October 2017 I have been working – with great pleasure – as a Mental Health Practice Assistant (POH-GGZ) in this practice.

The interest in people and their psyche made me decide to become POH-GGZ after my training as a psychologist. As a POH-GGZ I support and treat people of all ages and with all kinds of complaints. I look and think about what can help the patient in his or her situation.

I think it is important that what is going on with the patient is listened to with respect and that the patient is allowed to be who he/she is.

To make an appointment with me you can simply call the practice or schedule an appointment. You do not have to pay a personal contribution to speak to me.

My working days are all Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Working hours : All day Wednesday and Thursday only.

Francien works for "dieet planeet" and can help you with all diet related matters.

Working hours: Bettina works four days a week.

Bettina has been working at the practice for six months and she has been working in healthcare for over 12 years. Bettina started in the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital outpatient clinic Head Neck Surgery. In addition to scheduling patients, she assisted with ENT (KNO) procedures and the replenishment of instruments. She was also an assistant to Professor Reurs. She was also a planner for the Dermatology and Melanoma consultation hours. And now I work at HAHP. She likes the variety of the work and the team is great. Scheduling appointments, assisting doctors before the patients are there.

Working hours : Patricia works every day except Tuesday.

Patricia has been working in the practice since February 2019. She graduated in 2012 as a medical assistant. Patricia herself says about this: What appeals to me in the profession of a doctor's assistant is the versatility of the profession. As a doctor's assistant I schedule appointments and also perform medical procedures.
