I work with great pleasure and dedication in our beautiful practice. I now specialize in complaints of the musculoskeletal system and sports medicine has my special interest. Collaborating with our team is very fun and valuable. I enjoy this every day as well as the contact with the patients. Accessible and personal care is of paramount importance to me, and I do my best to achieve that every day.
I have been a GP since 2011 and have worked in various practices. The longest in Velserbroek where I was also trained. I have always had the ambition to run a practice together with a colleague. I am also a GP trainer.
I was educated at the AMC and have enjoyed living in various neighborhoods in Amsterdam for 16 years.
My style is open, with a touch of humor and I like to think along with you. I am naturally curious. I am interested and skilled in all aspects of the general practitioner profession and specialize in complaints of the musculoskeletal system in which sports medicine has my special interest.
My working days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
I have enjoyed working in this practice since 2008. Initially with Douwe de Vries, whose practice I took over together with Jesse de Feyter after his retirement (2017).
I have both completed my medical studies and my 3-year postgraduate general practitioner training at the VU, Amsterdam. After this training, I observed for a short time in various general practices in North Holland, to start (again) in this practice as of 2008 for a permanent position. Some of you will already know me from 2007, when I was in my last year of GP training and was already working in the practice of Douwe de Vries.
I am now a GP trainer myself, affiliated with the VUmc since 2014. I find good personal and accessible contact with my patients important. I am curious about the person behind the patient and, in addition to providing good medical care, I try to listen to what the patient has to say. My style is open and friendly.
Like my colleague, I am interested and well versed in the full breadth of the general practitioner profession, specializing in the placement of spirals and joint injections.
My working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Working hours: Bettina works four days a week.
Bettina has been working at the practice for six months and she has been working in healthcare for over 12 years. Bettina started in the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital outpatient clinic Head Neck Surgery. In addition to scheduling patients, she assisted with ENT (KNO) procedures and the replenishment of instruments. She was also an assistant to Professor Reurs. She was also a planner for the Dermatology and Melanoma consultation hours. And now I work at HAHP. She likes the variety of the work and the team is great. Scheduling appointments, assisting doctors before the patients are there. The interest in people and their psyche made me decide to become POH-GGZ after my training as a psychologist. As a POH-GGZ I support and treat people of all ages and with all kinds of complaints. I look and think about what can help the patient in his or her situation.
I think it is important that what is going on with the patient is listened to with respect and that the patient is allowed to be who he/she is.
To make an appointment with me you can simply call the practice or schedule an appointment. You do not have to pay a personal contribution to speak to me.
My working days are all Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Working hours : 4 days all day. Petra started as an assistant and works now also a practice nurse.
She has consultation hours for diabetes care, asthma/copd and elderly care. As of September 1, Petra no longer works on Fridays.
Since October 2017 I have been working – with great pleasure – as a Mental Health Practice Assistant (POH-GGZ) in this practice.
